A 32-year-old man has died following a motor vehicle accident in Wailekutu Wednesday night.
Police confirmed the victim had been travelling towards Suva on his motorcycle when a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man allegedly attempted a sudden U-turn across the road, resulting in a collision.
The incident occurred shortly after 10pm.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where medical officials later confirmed his death.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle is in custody and will be questioned as investigations continue.
