More than 30 Housing Authority residential units will be available for the Makosoi sub division in Deuba, says Minister for Local Government Maciu Nalumisa
The minister also said the Authority had completed the development of 103 residential lots at the Tovata sub-division in Labasa.
While highlighting the ministry’s achievements for 2023, Mr Nalumisa said the Ministry of Housing had been liaising with agencies such as Housing Authority the Public Rental Board for the production of more units and land.
“It is something that we are working on right now,” he said.
“More units to be able to meet the demand of housing out there.
“So in the next few years we are hoping to produce more units, to be able to meet housing needs, and housing demand out there.”
