Former Fiji 7s squad member Akuila Momo has been announced as a key addition to the McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s squad for the upcoming McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s tournament.

Known for his exceptional skills and dynamic playing style, Momo is set to bring his experience and talent to the invitational side.

Momo, who was the recipient of the prestigious Campese-Serevi Medal in 2024 for his outstanding performances at the Coral Coast Fiji 7s, has established himself as a player to watch in the world of rugby sevens.

The McDonald’s Mike Friday Select 7s team will be one of the headline attractions at the 2026 McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s, competing in front of packed crowds at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

The McDonald’s Coral Coast Fiji 7s will held on January 15-17.
