In a heartfelt tribute to a beloved member of our community, we mourn the passing of Temo Pita Tikomailepanoni Lenati Savou. A gentleman known for his simplicity, humility, and kindness, Temo touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Temo’s journey with FASANOC began as a dedicated volunteer. His passion and commitment soon led him to the role of Media Officer, where he played an instrumental part in managing our communications.
Temo’s efforts significantly raised the profile of the athletes who proudly represented Team Fiji. His skillful storytelling and media management brought our athletes’ stories to life, inspiring many across the nation.
In the time leading up to his passing, Temo was the driving force behind the organisation of our Annual Olympic Day celebrations in both Suva and Nadi. His meticulous planning and hard work ensured the smooth and successful execution of these events, leaving a lasting legacy that will be remembered for years to come.
Temo’s impact on Team Fiji’s media communications was profound. His ability to build strong relationships with National Federations was evident, as shown by the diverse representation of sports representatives at his funeral earlier today.
This gathering was a testament to the respect and admiration he garnered throughout his career.
The absence of Temo will be deeply felt by all of us at FASANOC.
On behalf of the Executive Board, Management, Staff, members of National Sporting Bodies, and Team Fiji athletes and officials, we extend our deepest condolences to Temo’s family. His legacy of humility, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire us all.
Temo Pita Tikomailepanoni Lenati Savou, you will be sorely missed. Your contributions to FASANOC and the sporting community in Fiji have left an indelible mark. Thank you for everything. May you rest in peace.
