A one of a kind recital. The Moana Loa Performing Arts Centre set the mood at the University of Fiji with spectacular performances — awing the audience in attendance with drama, art and aerial dance.
Moana Loa co-founder Ateca Ravuvu said the recital showcased talents and skill-sets of its members to parents, guardians and guests as breathtaking acts such as the aerial art had people on their feet.
Ms Ravuvu said the centre hosted its second term recital at the Japan ICT Theatre in USP — themed the ‘Tales of Disney’ which was based on five different Disney stories: Cinderella, Frozen, Snow White, Moana and Alice in Wonderland.
“It was an integration of dance, drama, music and aerial. Like I mentioned, 17 young aerialists from ages six to 15 performed their hearts out.
“We had skill levels of beginners to advanced levels and 16 dancers, musicians and actors within the show. The show was both for children and adults,” she said.
