HILTON Fiji Beach Resort & Spa is introducing ‘Sip Society’, an initiative celebrating the artistry and creativity of mixology at Hilton hotels.

“At Hilton, our bartenders are more than just drink makers—they’re true artisans, mixing passion, skill, and a splash of creativity into every pour,” the company said in a statement yesterday.

It hopes Sip Society will become a platform that connects guests with Hilton venues through social media and exclusive on-premise events among others.

“This initiative builds upon the resort’s previous Food & Beverage Masters campaign, a regional competition celebrating excellence in foods and beverage craftsmanship across Hilton hotels in Asia Pacific,” it stated.

As part of Sip Society, guests can indulge in a curated selection of signature cocktails crafted with quality ingredients, each meticulously chosen to deliver the ultimate taste experience.

For example the Spicy Po’oi Margarita, available exclusively at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa’s Koro Bar.

“Crafted by F&B Masters bartender Zach Whippy, the Spicy Po’oi Margarita draws inspiration from the rich heritage of his Rotuman wife,” Hilton Fiji stated.

Traditionally a dessert, Po’oi is reimagined into a bold, modern cocktail featuring the tropical sweetness of mango, smooth coconut rum, a fiery kick of spice, and a splash of tequila.

“This is an amazing opportunity to showcase our creativity, highlight local flavors, and craft drinks that truly capture the spirit of Fiji. I look forward to shaking things up and sharing these unique creations with everyone,” Mr Whippy said.

Fellow F&B Masters bartender Lusiana Mocelutu said: “I’m beyond excited to be part of Sip Society and to bring our craft to life behind the bar.

“Guests can expect bold flavors and creative twists with our signature cocktails like the fiery Spicy Po’oi Margarita, the refreshing Cure Me Baby, the vibrant Sunset Revival, and the tropical Coral Cloud. Each drink tells a story, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience them.”

Hilton Fiji’s F&B director Andreas Reinhardt said Sip Society is a “fantastic platform that highlights the incredible talent of our bartenders, allowing them to showcase their creativity and passion for mixology.”

“It’s more than just cocktails—it’s about delivering an elevated and memorable experience for our guests, where each drink is crafted with skill and innovation.

“We’re excited to share this journey and bring something truly special to the table,” Mr Reinhardt said.
