Update: 4:43PM FORMER Miss Hibiscus and current Miss World Fiji Nanise Rainima has sent her well wishes to the 16 young ladies vying for this year’s Miss Hibiscus title.
Speaking from Singapore last night where is on ambassadorial duties with Fiji Airways and Tourism Fiji, Miss Rainima said this was only the beginning of a lifetime experience for the young women.
She extended the same wishes to all contestants vying for the various other categories in the festival.
And she also has a message to members of the general public.
“For those going to enjoy Hibiscus, don’t let the weather stop you but remember to stay warm and stay safe, go in numbers and be wise,” Miss Rainima said.
“Hibiscus is just for a week so don’t live in the moment but think of the rest of your life and how what you going to do today affects your tomorrow.”
