CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Fiji, Zaira Begg for winning the title for this year’s pageant.
I believe all the hard work and effort got you to where you are today.
We read about the hardship you went through, such as selling mangoes and kai on the roadside.
Well that is something that many have done in your early days or are still on to it but not everyone gets the opportunity to shine out like you. I believe this also should come as a motivating factor for the rest of them who are facing that struggle right now.
You are the face for Fiji now and we hope you to bring glory and make the country proud.
Please don’t get carried away as there’s still a long way to go.
You have been given the opportunity to serve and relate a message for the whole of Fiji. Make the most of this wonderful moment.
Please do always have this at the back of your mind that having a fabulous body or face is not that matters as much as having a good heart and the ability to serve with all you have. I hope you excel further to make the country proud.
To the other contestants, you all were good in your own ways and I’m sure your hard work has not gone unnoticed but the triumph always is one.
You still turned out to be the winner as you are walking away with so many new experiences and I am sure you all must have made some new friends.
