Minster Naiqamu joins Labasa youths in planting trees

Forestry Minister Osea Naiqamu joined 160 youths in Labasa in planting 250 trees at Vatulovona Village, outside town area.

The youths, members of the Vatulovona Youth Club have joined government’s program to plant 30million trees in 15 years.

In addressing the youths at the village, Minister Naiqamu challenged them to make a difference and help Government reduce and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

“Future generations will judge us if we fail in our efforts to make a change.”
