THE psychiatric report of a 25-year-old accused of killing and dismembering the body of his 86-year-old maternal grandfather in Lutu, Wainibuka, in July last year is still not ready.
State prosecutor Naazish Ali said doctors at the St Giles Hospital need a few more sessions with murder accused, Charles Laxton Sundar before a report is finalised and furnished to the court.
Mr Laxton had his case called before Justice Usaia Ratuvili at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
The psychiatric report will ascertain whether Mr Sundar is fit to take a plea.
He has been further remanded in custody, and the case adjourned to January 20.
