Melbourne Storm have confirmed that Tui Kamikamica has signed a new one-year contract, keeping him in purple for the 2026 NRL season.
Storm player #181, Kamikamica has made 138 appearances for the club since making his debut against Penrith in 2017.
The experienced forward has become a mainstay under coach Craig Bellamy, featuring in more than 20 matches in each of the past three seasons, including 24 games in 2025.
The Fijian international has also been part of Storm’s Leadership Group for the past two years and has captained Fiji Bati since 2023, earning 23 international caps.
Reflecting on his decision to re-sign, Kamikamica said he was proud to continue his journey in Melbourne.
“Storm was the first club to give me an opportunity to play NRL,” he said.
“It has always been an honour to wear the purple jersey, and I’m excited to remain in Melbourne for 2026 and continue playing alongside my teammates.”
Storm Director of Football Frank Ponissi praised Kamikamica’s contribution to the club.
“Tui has been a tremendous servant to our club for the past nine years, and we’re pleased to have his signature confirmed for the 2026 season,” Ponissi said.
“He has been a loyal, hard-working member of our squad for a long time, and we’re excited to have his continued leadership and impact as we prepare for the season ahead.”
