Mel B intends to “gather the troops” for a Spice Girls reunion — even if the rest of the band aren’t planning anything.
The 40-year-old singer is determined she and her former bandmates — Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell,Emma Bunton, and Mel C — will do something to mark the fact next year sees them celebrate 20 years since the release of their debut single Wannabe, even if the rest of the group are not convinced.
She said: “When you say it’s our 20th anniversary coming up, it does make you think, ‘Oh, my gosh, it really has been that long.’
“Hopefully, we’ll gather the troops around, and we’ll get to do something to celebrate it next year. It’s in my plan, I don’t know about anybody else’s.”
