About 380 Methodist Church ministers, deacons and deaconesses gathered at Suva’s Centenary Church to discuss pastoral postings and related issues, ahead of the annual conference which begins next week.
The church’s media team member Manasa Vatanitawake said yesterday’s meeting in Suva included ministers from Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific island nations.
“This meeting is only for ministerial (pastoral) postings, spiritual issues and the different positions within the church that involves church ministers,” he said.
“Other issues like social justice will be discussed in next week’s church annual conference at the Vodafone Arena.”
