FOUR teams remain unbeaten in the men’s competition after day one of the McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast Sevens tournament.
The Fiji 7s team, Seattle Barbarians, Australia Select and New Zealand team 1 are undefeated after two rounds of pool matches at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Fiji currently tops pool A after thrashing Brothers 19-5 and defeated NZ team 2 10-0.
In pool B, NZ team 1 got off to a good start with a 24-14 win over Colo West Highlanders and backed it with a 14-12 victory over the Fijian Drua.
Still in the same pool, Semi Kunatani and his Seattle Barbarians side drew 14-all with the Drua and later edged Colo West Highlanders 10-7.
Australia Select upset Mike Friday’s Select Sevens 21-19 after thrashing Takita Brothers 19-7 in its opening match.
