The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will come out firing no matter what the weather conditions.
This was echoed by Waratahs winger of Fijian origin Mark Nawaqanitawase ahead of their crucial Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 5 clash against the Drua at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
“Rain, sun or whatever, they (Drua) are going to come out and play, so we have to make sure that we are ready for it,” he said.
The match will also be a special one for the elusive flyer who would run on the pitch in Waratahs colours for the 50th time.
“We are playing for the first time here and hopefully we come away with a win this weekend.
“It is going to be very special because the Drua is doing quite well and obviously they would want a win, so we are expecting a good clash.”
The 23-year-old, with paternal links to Nalebaleba in Navosa, says playing his 50th game for the Waratahs in Fiji was special.
“A lot of family are coming from the village and it would be good to see their faces and represent them.”
The Fijian Drua men v Waratahs match will kick-off at 1.05pm followed by the Fijian Drua Women and Waratahs Women match at 3.35pm.
