Fiji Football Association technical director Timo Jankowski is a professional football coach with more than 10 years experience at the highest level in the areas of high performance training, holisitic player development, talent ID and scouting, curriculum and training concept development and coach education on and off the field.
He is the author of two football education books with the topics of Tactical Periodisation and high level football training which became international bestsellers and doing coach education for international leading federations.
His other qualities:
- Practical experience within all age groups up to the highest level in professional football with federations and clubs like the Swiss record Champion Grasshoppers Club Zürich and the Swiss FA;
- Completed university degree in international business which helps him to work very structured with detailed processes to build a longterm succesful strategy;
- With his positive and ambitious way of thinking he can inspire people and can develop projects to success;
- His drive is to work for a long term and ambitious project for Fiji Football Association to develope sustainable success in all areas of the football game Professional experience 2019-2021: Swiss Football Federation and assistant U16 national team and coach educator, 2015-2020 Grasshopper Club Zürich and head of Youth and Player Development and head of Performance and assistant coach (1st team), and U16 head coach (Swiss Cup winner).
