Update: 2:12PM A 62-YEAR-old man died instantly last night after he was mowed down by a bus at Belo St in Samabula, Suva.
Fiji Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the bus, driven by a 63-year-old man, was turning into Belo St when it is alleged the deceased of Nauluvatu Settlement suddenly crossed the road.
Ms Naisoro said the body was now kept at the CWM hospital mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
In a separate accident, Police confirmed the collision of a bus and a private vehicle near Naimasimasi in Tailevu today.
Ms Naisoro said they had yet to obtain the full particulars of that case.

Police are refreshing their calls to all motorists to adhere to road safety rules for the safety of everyone.
