An unidentified iTaukei man has died after being struck by a vehicle along the Queens Road at Martintar, Namaka, in the early hours of this morning.
Police say the incident occurred at around 3.40am.
The man, who is believed to have been intoxicated, was hit by a passing vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle is now in police custody as investigations continue.
