Update: 6:04PM THE 42-year-old man who was found guilty and convicted of the death of a storeman outside a shopping complex in Navakai, Nadi in 2013 was sentenced to life by the High Court in Suva this afternoon.
Livai Lino, 42, was yesterday convicted by high court judge Justice Salesi Temo for the murder of Ashwin Roy Lal on June 21 that year.
In his judgement, Justice Temo said Lino had intended to kill.
Lino will serve a minimum term of 17 years before he can be considered for a pardon by the President.
