RENOWNED Nausori shopping outlet Tara’s Supermarket continues its partnership as a major sponsor of the Nausori Rugby 7s tournament, which kicks off in a fortnight.
The two parties put pen to paper in a signing ceremony at the Tanoa Plaza Hotel in Suva yesterday.
Present for Tara’s Supermarket was its director Amish Patel and a company representative with officials from the Nausori Rugby Club signing the partnership’s extension as well.
The partnership is a major boost for the rugby tournament, which continues its focus on elevating rugby from a grassroots level and placing it at the forefront in the aim of uplifting local communities and showcasing hidden talents.
“This tournament provides more than a pathway for our young talents to showcase their ability and build their own character as well,”club’s secretary Sirilo Ramenatave said
“It reminds us that we have to reconnect our proud legacy while laying the foundation for our next generation to rise.”
He also acknowledged the backing of the Nausori Town Council.
