ONE of Fiji’s household names in hardware, RC Manubhai & Co, has announced the successful go-live of its SAP Business One Hana Version Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which it said marked a major milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.
The SAP implementation is central to its vision to modernise and integrate its core business operations and is now live across all key functional areas, including Finance, Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Warehouse Operations, the company said in a statement yesterday.
RC Manubhai & Co chief executive officer Dr Uppiliappan Gopalan said going live with SAP was a transformational moment for the organisation.
“This platform will enable us to streamline operations, improve inventory control, and deliver greater value to our customers and partners,” he said.
“We thank all teams involved for their dedication, especially during critical project phases.”
This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced customer service delivery.
The project, led by the internal ERP team in close collaboration with implementation partner Abja Business Solutions Pte Ltd, underwent rigorous testing and training to ensure business continuity and user readiness at all levels.
“The SAP project included extensive end-user training, data migration, change management, and system integration to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations.
“The go-live marks the beginning of a continuous improvement phase, with planned enhancements to analytics, reporting, and automation,” the company stated.
