PROFICIENT Customer Solutions (PCS) has been awarded the ‘ISO 27001:2022′ certification solidifying the company’s position as a leader in outsource operations committed to international standards of information security, operational excellence and boosting Fiji’s credibility in the global outsourcing industry.

PCS founder and director Yogesh Chand described the certification as a symbol of his company’s commitment to operational excellence and client trust.

“This is more than just a piece of paper but a reflection of our values, which includes integrity, responsibility and readiness.

“We are proud to show the world that a Fijian outsourcing operator can meet and even exceed international security standards,” Mr Chand said.

He said the certification process was not just about compliance but about building a security-first culture throughout the organisation.

“PCS officially received its certification in February this year, following months of preparation and system transformation.

“We didn’t just implement controls; we changed the way we think and work. Security is now part of our DNA,” Mr Chand.

Outsource Fiji executive director Josefa Wivou acknowledged PCS’ achievement and noted the growing importance of data and security in the global outsourcing landscape.

“What PCS has done today is the exact opposite of that risk, they’ve shown responsibility, leadership and a long-term vision.

“This is a big win for PCS and for Outsource Fiji sector,” Mr Wivou said.

He added, while Fiji may not yet match the scale of larger BPO nations, its strength lies in agility, governance and transparency.

“Fiji is proving itself to be a safe, secure and ethical outsourcing destination.

“Our providers are tightly regulated, our talent pool is growing, and our standards – as demonstrated by PCS – are world class,” he said.

Outsource Fiji urges more local companies to invest in certification, resilience planning and upskilling to compete in international markets and the certification milestone from PCS places the company among an elite group of Fijian firms already aligned with global compliance frameworks.
