Methodist Church in Fiji president the Reverend Dr Semisi Turagavou and general secretary the Reverend Dr Jolami Lasawa have been re-elected for another term in office.
Mr Lasawa said the deputy general secretary position would be finalised today.
“For our president and myself, the results mean we will remain in office until the annual conference next year when another election happens,” Mr Lasawa said.
“We thank the members for trusting us with our duties having to lead them over the past year.”
Mr Lasawa said they also met with Methodist Church leaders from Australia, England and America.
“They have assured us of scholarships that will be used on our students at the Davuilevu Theological College.”
