Lautoka school creates own biogas 2.0

LAUTOKA’S Central College has become the first school in the Fiji and the Pacific region to create its own home biogas 2.0.

School principal Amant Lal said the biogas would be used to fuel their home economics stove burners and waste would be utilised in agriculture classes.

He said the project started when the Fiji Water Foundation gave the school a $10, 0000 grant for the science lab and the home biogas project.
