South Pacific Boxing Promotion promoter Freddy Chand has confirmed that their next promotion will take place in Labasa on August 10.

Following a successful event in Nadi over the weekend, Chand acknowledged their sponsors and the media for their support in promoting the fight, which concluded successfully at Prince Charles Park.

“We want to thank God Almighty for the beautiful night, we also want to thank the media for a good coverage that brought out a successful fight.

“August 10, we going to Labasa, with the Ministry of Youth and Sports coming on board we are confirmed for Labasa,” Chand said.

“Winston Hill might be defending his belt in Labasa. We want to promote Labasa and take boxing in the North to another level.”

After Labasa, the next event will be in Suva on October 26.

“On October 26 we will be in Suva, that’s done deal,” Chand added.

Chand also confirmed there were bigger plans for Winston Hill since the Asia Pacific title is in Fiji.
