LABASA FC is determined to bounce back this weekend as they prepare to face Rewa in the final leg of the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series.
Despite their 0-1 loss in the first leg, the team is eager to seek revenge, especially with the advantage of playing on their home turf. “We have been ironing out our mistakes, and we are going for a win this time,” said head coach Alvin Chand.
“The final-leg is really important, because we are a goal down and last year, we also failed to win the CVC, but this year the second leg is in Subrail Park our home ground, and we will work out all means and ways to get a win and give a trophy to our fans here in Labasa.”
Chand reassured fans that the team injury free, allowing them to fully focus on game day.
Labasa FC is rallying their supporters to stand behind them as they strive for victory in the final leg of the series.
The second leg of the CvC will be held at Subrail Park in Labasa on Saturday at 1.30pm.
