The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team has secured a spot at the LA 7s cup quarterfinals after beating Australia 15-12 in their final pool match today.
Anasa Qaranivalu was the first to score a try after-which Maurice Longbottom answered back for the Australians with a try.
Nathan Lawson of Australia also touched down a try before the breather as they led 12-5 at half-time.
The scores in the second spell came from Fiji through a try each to Jerry Matana and Pilipo Bukayaro who scored in the dying seconds of the match.
