INOSI Kuridrani was officially sworn in yesterday, marking his return to Parliament ahead of the 2025–2026 National Budget debate.
Mr Kuridrani fills the vacant seat left by the late Minister for Agriculture, Vatimi Rayalu, representing The People’s Alliance Party.
It remains unclear whether Mr Kuridrani will be given a ministerial portfolio, with any such appointment at the discretion of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.
He most recently served as chairperson of the Land Transport Authority.
While welcoming him in Parliament, Speaker er Filimone Jitoko con- firmed Mr Kuridrani is scheduled to contribute to the budget debate on Wednesday.
