Update: 1:03PM LOCAL Government, Housing, Environment, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Parveen Kumar will host the Chairman of Standing Committee on Environment of Japan’s House of Representatives, Tomokatsu Kitagawa today at the Lautoka City Council Chambers.
Mr Kitagawa will visit the Vunato Dump site to see the improvements to waste management that have been done with the support of the Japanese Government’s 3R- reduce, reuse, recycle program.
Mr Kumar will also host Mr Kitagawa and his delegation to dinner in the Sugar City this evening.
