For Rahul Krishna and his partner, Saturday evening at Eden Park was an unforgettable experience.

“Wow, it felt just like watching a Rugby World Cup final between the two best teams in the world,” he said, reflecting on the clash between the All Blacks and the Springboks in the Rugby Championship.

With more than 43,000 fans packing New Zealand’s most iconic rugby ground, the atmosphere was electric.

“The stadium was a sea of green and black, creating an electrifying atmosphere from start to finish,” Krishna recalled.

The buzz was matched by the intensity on the field, as both teams traded blows in a contest worthy of their reputation as rugby’s fiercest rivals.

The All Blacks, buoyed by their passionate home crowd, rose to the occasion to maintain their formidable unbeaten record at Eden Park. “The record is intact at Eden Park!!” Krishna exclaimed.

Among the night’s standout moments was captain Ardie Savea’s commanding display in his milestone 100th test.

“A highlight of the evening was Ardie Savea leading with immense pride, a fitting reminder of his influence and leadership,” Krishna said.

For Krishna, a lifelong rugby fan, the spectacle was everything he had hoped for.

“The match delivered spine-tingling moments right until the final whistle. The All Blacks showcased their brilliance on the field,” he added.

Attention now shifts to Wellington’s Sky Stadium, where the two giants meet again. As Krishna put it: “Rugby fans can only hope for another unforgettable battle.”
