FIJI tennis coach Robert Krause, says the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan will provide local tennis players the best international exposure.
Tennis players Conway Beg, Raynal Singh, Antonio O’Connell, Ruby Coffin and Vienna Kumar are competing in the tournament under Team Fiji.
“We do not know what the competition would be like.
We are going in for the first time,” he said.
Krause said the competition would be a good testing ground for players.
“This is the exposure the players need. Sometimes they get used to facing the same girls and boys in various countries, but this is completely a new stage and at a much higher level with different surrounding and different atmosphere,” he said.
The competition will end on September 27.
