FIJI born Wallabies winger Marika Koroibete has joined Oceania Sports Management, a newly formed agency that advocates for the welfare of rugby union players during and after their time in the sporting arena.
Koroibete made the announcement on social media yesterday and expressed his enthusiasm for the new path he will venture into.
“I have joined Oceania (Sports Management) as it focuses on player welfare and development on and off the field and I look forward to giving back to emerging players especially from Fiji and (the) Pacific Islands when my career ends,” Koroibete stated.
In joining the agency, he has partnered with Terry Linford, an Australian risk and compliance executive, who has deep roots to rugby union in Fiji.
