Various set-plays were on show during the session as the extended squad exerted energy, force and strength into refining their craft as Kolinisau eyes the best 12 to showcase in Singapore.
Kolinisau mentioned the team had been training towards the end of last year following their return from the Cape Town leg in South Africa and took a break for Christmas and the New Year.
“We’re back this week, a full week, back on Sunday and we know how important it is to remain consistent.”
In driving the message across on how consistent he needed the team to be, he reflected on their results in the first two legs in Dubai and Cape Town.
“We were disappointed about our results, we wanted to win the last two tournaments, but we’re not in a bad place.
“We finished the year tied on top with South Africa and New Zealand and I told the boys this is important for the rest of the series, these two legs.
“Our goal is to try and win the series this year, and that’s why we’ve been working hard after the leg, before Christmas and before New Year’s.”
The Singapore 7s will be held from January 31 to February 1.
