The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women players have expressed their determination and commitment to delivering an exciting match against the Melbourne Rebels tomorrow night.

The two-time Super W champions just need a draw to host a first-ever semi-final on home soil next week.

Midfield player Merewai Cumu, who will be donning her usual No. 12 jersey against the Rebels at AAMI Park in Melbourne, emphasises the importance of adhering to their game plans.

“This is a new week, we must learn from our mistakes against the Brumbies last week and we know the Rebels will come out strong,” Cumu said.

“We have to stick to our game plans and just polish on our weaknesses from last week.”

Luisa Tisolo, who will be covering in the backline, anticipates a physically and demanding game from against the home team.

“The Brumbies gave us a good run last week and this week we expect a more physical game from the Rebels, and hopefully we come back with a win,” she added.

Halfback cover Setaita Railumu strongly believes on teamwork.

“It’s a new week for us but same goal; the Rebels is a good team, but we need to work as a team,” she added.

A win tomorrow night would secure the Mosese Rauluni-coached side a spot in their first home semi-final next Saturday.

Coach Rauluni maintains a humble approach, emphasising the importance of focusing on securing the win first before thinking about the home semi-final.

“We don’t want to worry about home semi-final, all that we’ve got to do is to win and win well,” he added.

The match against the Rebels kicks off at 7.05pm
