Knowledge is power

Knowledge is power — is a popular proverb.

It means that knowledge is more powerful than physical strength and no great work can be done without knowledge. The proverb means that power comes from knowledge. No individual or nation can prosper in life without knowledge.

While there is limit to power, there is no limit for a person to learn. Even big problems can be solved, if we have the knowledge to solve it.

As an example: A teacher without thorough knowledge cannot properly teach his/her students. A student without proper knowledge of the subject cannot pass his/ her examination.

Knowledge is considered superior to physical strength in gaining success. A society or community that is devoid of knowledge is considered backward, even if they are strong and powerful group.

Many physical powerful nations were defeated by nations having greater intelligence and knowledge.

Knowledge plays a vital role in every human’s life and activity. The application of knowledge has led men and women to the path of progress.

Knowledge is power because it helps us to think for ourselves. When we know all of the relevant facts about a given matter, we are able to make our own autonomous judgments about that matter without having to rely on what others have to tell us.

Knowledge gives us the joy and power. Knowledge empowers us to face the challenges in life.

The invention of almost every modern device has involved some form of technology.

Technology is the practical application of scientific knowledge. Scientific knowledge is the key to major discoveries.

As said, there is limit to physical power but there is no limit to a person to learn. Every person should learn to acquire knowledge.
