DESPITE having a better winning record and boasting higher statistics compared with the Kiwis, I am urging our Fiji Bati brigade to remain calm and humble.
The Kiwis will have the home advantage and the fact that they won the 2008 RLWC and lost to the Kangaroos in the 2013 RLWC final. After their loss to the Tongans, I expect the NZ warriors to come prepared, guards up just like a wounded lion ready to deliver the killer blow.
Our discipline and overconfidence could be our downfall, but if we maintain our discipline and composure and hammer the Kiwis just as the Tongans butchered them, then history is going to be created come Saturday evening.
A little bit of structure in defence shall help in our victory. Nothing is impossible and if our boys are willing then NZ will be defeated at the Cake Tin.
We boast some big names and a host of NRL stars and our team bonding is very strong. Rugby pundits say this team is Fiji’s best bet at the RLWC. My best wishes to our boys as they prepare for NZ!
