The Kings Road is open to traffic, the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) has advised this morning.
FRA states flood waters have receded allowing for safe passage.
“For optimal road safety during heavy rain, please exercise extreme caution,” states FRA.
“Reduce your speed significantly, increase the distance between your vehicle and the one in front, and always use your low-beam headlights.”
“This will improve your visibility to other drivers on the road.’
FRA adds surface flooding on the road may reduce traffic to one=lane in some parts of Fiji.
A flash flood warning remains in force for all low lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams for Western and Northern division.
“Majority of low-lying areas of sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki is still under water.”
