Ra Sports Ground was full of excitement yesterday as the Ra Primary Schools Rugby Association held their finals.

More than 500 students from five clusters took part, with parents and supporters cheering, dancing, and enjoying the day.

With 52 teams competing across the under-9 to under-14 grades, the event was more than just a competition it was a true festival of grassroots rugby.

The ground was packed with enthusiastic parents, teachers, and supporters who brought the place alive with singing, traditional dancing, and cheering.

“This tournament is more than a final,” said association president Pasikali Navukula.

“This is Ra’s festival a time when each cluster, after holding their internal games, sends their best to represent them.

“It’s about community pride and growing the next generation of rugby players.”

Among the participating clusters were Cluster One (Naseyani Primary and Drauniivi Public School), the Western Force group (Nanuku Sangam, Sudha Primary, Naroko Primary), Cluster Three and Four each made up of five schools as well as Clusters Six and Seven.
