Three juveniles and a man in his 20s have been arrested by the Southern Division Taskforce for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery in Wailoku on Sunday.
Police said a raid was conducted in the area yesterday morning, leading to the four suspects being taken into custody at the Samabula Police Station, where they were being questioned.
The arrests follow the circulation of CCTV footage showing an attempted robbery on a man by a group of young boys.
According to police, the man had parked his van outside a Wailoku home when one of the boys approached, restrained him, and pushed him onto the road.
Two other boys then joined the attack.
Despite the assault, the man managed to fight off the attackers and drive away safely.
