FAMILIES concerned about loved ones who boarded Nadi bound Flight JQ119 from Sydney, Australia, at 10am (Sydney time), have been assured that the plane has landed safely in Noumea.
According to sources, the Jetstar Airways flight was diverted to Nouméa due to adverse weather conditions.
It has been confirmed that the flight is currently in Nouméa refuelling and is expected to resume its journey shortly.
Also this hour, the airline updated the arrival time in Nadi to 8.12pm.
