Cabinet has endorsed a grant aid arrangement with the Government of Japan to support the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) in strengthening its operational capacity.
Under the agreement, Japan will provide approximately $12.6 million) to fund the procurement of essential heavy machinery for road construction and maintenance across Fiji.
The grant aims to enhance MPW’s ability to deliver timely and efficient roadworks nationwide, ensuring better infrastructure and improved connectivity for communities.
