STARTING off from an IT retailer, Janty Bondwell Ltd has now evolved into a full solutions provider.

The company held a function yesterday to showcase the new iPhoneX, which was released in the US on November 3, to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.

Bondwell general manager Jeetesh Kumar said the event was to give the media the opportunity to see and feel the new iPhone X.

“As everyone knows iPhone revolutionised the way we all communicated globally. The invited guests were just members of the Fijian media community. The response from all that had the opportunity to use the phone commented on the speed and camera quality.

“Personally I feel the iPhoneX has one of the best cameras of all the mobile phones I have seen.

“When I had first heard of the Face ID to unlock the phone I was a bit skeptical thinking that the phone wouldn’t be that quick compared to current iPhone 7 using the Finger Print ID, but today when I used the phone for an hour, Face ID is extremely quick and easy,” he said.

The price of the iPhone X 256GB which is currently available at Bondwell is $3999 VIP.

Mr Kumar said the IT company had the largest team in Fiji with more than a hundred local employees.

“With solutions providing we have added several new services such as networking – structured and wireless; security CCTV designing in installation, including the Labasa CCTV project, smart board rooms, video conference, power solutions, IT management and much more.

“We have also invested in making sure we have service centres throughout Fiji, which no other IT company has.”

Mr Kumar said during the event yesterday, some of their suppliers noted that the technology uptake in Fiji was very fast and great compared with some developed countries.

That should make people in the IT sector proud because it was apparent that Fiji was not far behind in technology, he said.
