A thorough investigation is currently underway into the circumstances surrounding a police vehicle accident in Saweni this morning.
This after the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew directed that an investigation be conducted saying necessary disciplinary action will be taken if the officers were found to be disregarding road laws and abusing their authority whilst in control of a police vehicle.
Four police officers were traveling in the vehicle heading towards Lautoka, when the driver allegedly lost control causing it to tumble.
The four officers are under observation at the Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
