SHE was blasted by her ex Calvin Harris in an angry Twitter tirade after revealing she wrote the lyrics to his hit track This Is What You Came For.
The Sun reports that the internet has reacted to the rant, and the subsequent public criticism Taylor Swift has faced in the wake, in the only way it knows how — with a series of hilarious memes poking fun at the singer.
According to Twitter the likes of Katy Perry, Harry Styles, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are currently enjoying a ‘Taylor Swift Is Over” party and it looks like good fun.
Those who dislike the Bad Blood singer have imagined their favourite stars getting ready, arriving at the bash in style and dancing up a storm at the fictional event. Given Swift has had an ongoing feud with Katy Perry — with Harris even referencing the fallout in his Twitter rant — it seems no surprise that Perry was branded the first star to attend the bash.
One user uploaded a meme of Perry fanning herself with a watermelon and the caption: @Y’all know Katy is first to arrive at the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty.
And with Twitter accounts for everything from Angelina Jolie’s leg to Cara Delevingne’s brows it was only a matter of time before Swift’s pen name from the song — Nils Sjoberg — appeared online.
That account posted a snap of Rihanna, Katy Perry, Madonna, Lady Gaga and Beyonce along with the caption “Party like it’s 1989! #TaylorSwiftIsOver #taylorswiftpartyisover.
