Family-owned and operated, luxury private island resort Turtle Island Fiji has been recognized as one of the Top 2 Resorts in the South Pacific and Australia by the Condé Nast Traveler.
A statement from the resort said the Condé Nast Traveler announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards this week.
“We are honoured to be named as one of the Top 2 Resorts in the South Pacific & Australia and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who supported us in achieving this.
“This accolade is a testament to our passionate and dedicated team and a rewarding accomplishment as we approach the one year anniversary of welcoming back our international guests since the pandemic,” said Richard Evanson, Jr., chief executive officer and managing director of Turtle Island Fiji.
With its 14 beachfront bures, 500-acres of lush forests and 12 private beaches, Turtle Island serves as an idyllic sanctuary and secluded respite for travellers seeking connection, community, culture, and consciousness.
The Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry.
More than 240,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot of the top places they enjoyed this year and can’t wait to return to next.
