The Ministry of Health and Medical Services has confirmed the seizure of 250 assorted flavoured vape products during a multi-agency raid on a Namaka-based company in Nadi yesterday morning.
The operation was carried out by the Fiji Revenue & Customs Service, Fiji Police Force, Nadi Health Office, and the Tobacco Control & Enforcement Unit.
This was based on allegations that the company was illegally importing and distributing vape products without the mandatory licence from the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry says the raid represents a significant step in curbing Fiji’s illicit tobacco and vaping trade
