ZOE Marisha , 42 is among hundreds of stranded passengers at Nabouwalu Jetty in Labasa that were scheduled to leave for Natovi Jetty in Tailevu on board the MV Spirit of Harmony this afternoon.

She said close to 200 passengers were told to re-book their tickets upon arrival and that the their trip was rescheduled for tomorrow because the vessel was full.

“We are all stranded here and lucky that some of us have relatives close by where they will spend the night. They told us to re-book this afternoon and that the vessel will leave around 7am tomorrow.

“Its really frustrating because some of us have waited here for six hours , we were informed that the vessel will leave tomorrow and i am just hoping that this delays will not affect our flight to Australia,”  Ms Marisha said.

She said her family was scheduled to leave for Australia on Friday.

Patterson Brothers Shipping Company Ltd director George Patterson said there was no issue about the vessel and it was scheduled to leave for Natovi jetty tomorrow morning.
