He made the comments at the groundbreaking ceremony for Housing Authority’s Mokosoi Housing subdivision in Deuba on Wednesday.
Minister for Housing Maciu Katamotu Nalumisa officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony at the new Mokosoi Housing subdivision.
Mr Singh thanked the minister for his presence and highlighted the organisation’s intentions to work collaboratively with the new government.
“To all our stakeholders, contractors, utility providers and our permanent secretary present on site on day 1 of his new added responsibility, thank you for your support,” Mr Singh added.
Additionally, Mr Singh mentioned that “this development will feature our first female engineer to contract, Ms Sheemal Nadan”.
The Housing Authority is also reportedly undertaking internal business transformation initiatives by way of having the right staff in the right roles, rolling out digital platforms for customers and streamlining processes and services delivery.
