HOUSING Authority has set a benchmark to develop at least 1000 lots a year as part of the reforms that the organisation will go through to improve its services.
Authority board chairman Nezbitt Hazelman said providing affordable homes to the people had become a challenge for the authority in the absence of a CEO in the past year.
It responded to this challenge with the appointment of Robert Sen to the position, effective Monday, September 16, 2019.
And Mr Sen is already at work.
He says there are certain policies that need to be changed.
And his immediate focus is to look at how best he could work with the staff to achieve the mandate of the authority.
