Staff members of Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa took part in a recent clean-up activity, following Tropical Cyclone Vaianu.
In a statement, the resort acknowledged their guests for staying calm amid adverse weather conditions.
“We are happy to share that Sofitel Fiji has come through Category 3 Cyclone Vaianu with no major damage,” the statement read.
“Vinaka vakalevu to our guests who stayed calm and made the most and wet weather activities on offer.”
The resort also commended the commitment from their team members who chose to remain at the hotel instead of going home to their families, ensuring the safety of guests was paramount.
